Deity showed up to the Sea Otter Classic ready with some of their Fall 2012 components. Some shown are prototypes while others are the production version.
First up from Deity is the CZ38 Special Handlebar, which is Cameron Zink’s signature model. This is a prototype that Cameron is currently testing. Constructed of 7075 T6 gradient butted aluminum, 760mm width and 38mm of rise. Weighing in at 310 grams, the bars will come in murder black, black and white, red, green and purple.
Another prototype, the Locust direct mount is made of CNC 7075 T6 aluminum, 65mm wide with an overall stiff setup. The weight is 117 grams. Upon release, the Locust Direct Mount will come in black, red, purple and green.
Deity also had a handful of seats on display, the Pinner DH, Rally I-Beam, Thimble I-Beam and Mainline DH.
The Deity Pinner DH seat utilizes lightweight hollow CR-MO rails, microfiber on the top for cushion, and a overall slim profile. Weighing in at 243 grams. Once released you can purchase in black/green, black/red, black/white and black/purple.
The Rally I-Beam and Thimble I-Beam seats are constructed with the revolutionary I-Beam technology and microfiber tops. The difference between the two seats is the Rally has a thin custom profile and weighs 232 grams while the Thimble is a mid profile seat and weighs 265 grams.
Last up for seats from Deity is the Mainline DH. Manufactured with very light CrN-TI Alloy rails, a microfiber top and overall slim profile. The lightest seat from Deity which weighs 221 grams.
The brand was excited to share all their products, but the one that they seemed most enthusiastic about was the Cavity stem, a prototype. Made from 6061 T6 aluminum, 32mm stack height with a wide platform in the front at 55mm width. The Cavity weighs 169 grams.
All the Deity Fall 2012 Components will be available in the next coming months. With the prototypes a bit further down the road.
